YouTube star Jimmy "MrBeast" has broken the silence on serious allegations leveled against his crew member Ava Kris Tyson. For those out of the loop, Ava Kris Tyson has been in the spotlight ever since some YouTubers alleged that she had inappropriate interactions with a 13-year-old and supported controversial cartoon artist Shadman.
On July 23, 2024, Tyson responded to the debacle and apologized for her past behavior. She also announced that she would step away from "all things MrBeast," writing:
"I would like to apologize for any of my past behavior or comments if it hurt or offended anyone. It was not my intent. Seeing recent events we’ve mutually decided it’s best I permanently step away from all things MrBeast and social media to focus on my family and mental health."
MrBeast took to X on July 25, 2024, to address the situation. Stating that he had "become aware" of the serious allegations made against Ava Kris Tyson, the Kansas native remarked that he was "disgusted and opposed" to "such unacceptable acts":
"Over the last few days, I’ve become aware of the serious allegations of Ava Tyson's behavior online and I am disgusted and opposed to such unacceptable acts."
The philanthropist also stated that he was "focused" on hiring an independent third party to conduct a "thorough investigation" into the incident. He also said that Ava Kris Tyson has been removed from his company and channel:
"During that time, I have been focused on hiring an independent third party to conduct a thorough investigation to ensure I have all the facts. That said, I’ve seen enough online and taken immediate action to remove Ava from the company, my channel, and any association with MrBeast. I do not condone or support any of the inappropriate actions."
The 26-year-old's social media post concluded with him saying:
"I will allow the independent investigators the necessary time to conduct a comprehensive investigation and will take any further actions based on their findings."
