"I f**ked up" - IShowSpeed says Amy Flamy was "never his girlfriend," explains why South Korean influencer was upset

YouTube star Darren "IShowSpeed" has publicly addressed his relationship with Amy Flamy. During a livestream on June 10, 2024, the content creator said he and Amy were "never together" and that the South Korean influencer was "never his girlfriend." He also provided details about their conversations through text messages, in which, according to the streamer, Amy said she "needed more time."

The 19-year-old said:

"Let me make this clear, too, chat. Me and Amy were never together. Amy was never my girlfriend. I do want to make that clear. I know I said that Amy was my girlfriend, but chat, she was never actually my girlfriend. When I asked her to be my girlfriend, even in messages, she said, 'I don't know yet. I need more time. I don't know.' A few more dates and she would answer it."

IShowSpeed then spoke about the recent controversy that occured when he collaborated with a female barber for a livestream. Claiming that this was the point when things took a "bad" turn, the Ohio native said:

"That's where the bad happened, okay? At the time, I didn't really think nothing of it, but it became something. I f**ked up and I asked... so this all happened because I asked another girl. I asked another girl about advice of what should I say to her, and that's where I f**ked up."

He added that he "did not know how to talk to girls" and said:

"I'm being honest, y'all - I do not know how to talk to girls. I'm not as good! You know? And especially, when a girl was, like, very, very... you know, very, very good. You know? That's where I f**ked up. I asked her what should I say, what advice should I give her..."

IShowSpeed then claimed that he "genuinely did not know" that the recent situation was "bad." While referring to himself as "stupid," the YouTube streamer said:

"I'm sorry. I genuinely did not know that that was bad. I'm just f**king stupid, to be honest, bro. I'm sorry, y'all. Like, I'm genuinely stupid. But what I will say... oh, yeah, I'm just genuinely stupid."

IShowSpeed then explained why Amy Flamy was upset, saying:

"Then, I called her. You know, it was 5 am where she was at. And, you know, that's when Amy got mad because the girl said that she was being sus. My dumb a** f**king... I'm sorry, chat. I'm going to be honest, I don't have that much experience with relationships. Like, actual real relationships. I'm going to be completely honest, bro."
