Melina Goransson, a Twitch streamer and political commentator Steven "Destiny's' ex-wife, has spoken up about the "worst months of her life" during their relationship. On December 4, 2024, a one-minute-47-second clip from the 26-year-old's recent Twitch broadcast was shared on the r/YouTubeDrama subreddit.
In the video, Melina discussed a controversy about Destiny that had surfaced online, presumably involving the content creator's alleged affair with Lauren Southern. Stating that she could now "talk about it" because the details of the alleged situation were "out now," the Swedish personality remarked:
"I hope I didn't say anything. Obviously. This came out just like that and I was like, 'Oh, okay. This is out now. Nice. Because now I can talk about it because this clearly happened.' So, now it's like, now I'm kind of free to talk about it. And we don't have to put in too much weight into anything."

Melina then described a situation in 2022 as the "worst months of her life":
"That whole thing... it was like 2022, it was probably like the worst months of my life because I got... I didn't know about it. That's the thing. Like, I could feel I could sense something, but I got told that I was crazy and that... what I felt was wrong."
Providing details about therapy sessions that she and the Kick streamer apparently underwent, Melina said:
"And I got told to go to therapy... I think we went to therapy, and he also lied to the therapist. So, the therapist was like, 'Oh, okay.' Like, you know? It was like just like, 'What the f**k are we doing here?' I remember even the therapist saying like, 'Do you want to do this relationship?' And he said yes. And then, he did all of this for months behind our backs. So, it was, like, just insane!"
What did Melina say about Destiny allegedly having an affair with Lauren Southern?
On November 20, 2024, a YouTube video featuring Melina surfaced on Reddit, in which she insinuated that Destiny had an affair with contentious personality Lauren Southern. While referring to the controversy that occurred last year, when the permanently banned Twitch streamer leaked her Discord message, Melina stated:
"Last year, he leaked a message of mine that I sent to someone I thought was my friend. And, in that message, I mentioned Lauren. You know, I mentioned her because there was a lot of stuff going on, obviously. Like, this is something we already know. I don't really know why people are speculating. Like, I think people can just put the puzzle pieces together, like, really easily. If they just look at, 'Okay, these things happened.'"
As of this writing, Destiny has not commented on his alleged affair with Lauren Southern.
