Twitch content creator Dantes recently made a lengthy post on X, describing his supposed monetary loss following the much-criticized launch of the $HAWK crypto coin by internet meme celebrity Hailey Welch. The cryptocurrency lost over $440 million worth of value in a short while after its launch.
This has been alleged by YouTuber and online investigator Stephen "Coffeezilla" to be a "rug pull" orchestrated by Hailey Welch and her team, with allegations of unfair trading practices being levied.
Calling Welch out directly within his strongly-worded post, Dantes wrote:
"F**k you, Hailey Welch. You ruined my life, I hope you rot in prison."

Recently, Hailey Welch has been making headlines following the launch of her cryptocurrency, $HAWK, which led her to receive allegations of insider trading from notable figures online such as CoffeeZilla. For context, the latter is known to investigate frauds and scams as part of his YouTube content.

A short while after being launched, $HAWK saw a dramatic rise in value, going up to $500 million. Just twenty minutes later, the value came dwindling down to just $60 million — a whopping 88% decline.
In his post, Dantes describes how he had supposedly invested a large sum of money into the cryptocurrency, which apparently rendered massive losses for him. Despite Dantes' visibly critical take of Welch in light of the recent controversy, some netizens have speculated the content of posts to be an effort at trolling by the streamer:

In other words, the law firm asked investors to choose it as their representative in case they decide to pursue legal action against Hailey Welch or her team.
