Popular Fortnite streamer Tyler Blevins, aka Ninja, has made it clear that he is not a fan of the recent additions to the game. Since Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 dropped on May 24, Epic has added several new car-focused weapons that Blevins did not appreciate in one of his recent streams.

After a particular incident where a person killed Ninja using the newly mounted turrets on cars, the streamer expressed frustration, claiming he would not be playing Fortnite. He also listed League of Legends and Valorant as possible substitute games he could be streaming for the next three months, which is also when Chapter 5 Season 3 ends:

"Yeah, I will not be playing this game. I will not be. Full time Valorant streamer. Clip it. Clip it and ship it. This will be about two to three months of League of Legends and Valorant guys, so, we will figure it out."

Tyler went on to clarify that he was not sure if his prior statements about quitting Fortnite and streaming other games were a joke, and complained about the Mad Max style additions to the game:

"I don't know whether I'm joking either, dude. I am very serious, I am not joking, dude! I just got killed in three seconds by a vehicle, by a turret, by a guy literally just seat-swapping and I didn't have a car to get away, so I died."

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 came with various new biomes, weapons, and a new battle pass. But the Mad Max-inspired setting naturally has a lot of emphasis on cars, with players being able to modify their rides with weapons and performance bonuses.

Some in the player base are naturally put off by the car-centric gameplay in the new Fortnite update, and it appears that Ninja is one of them. In one of his recent streams, he let his audience and his duo partner know that he was quite frustrated with the new additions and that he might just stop playing it until the season passes in a few months.

Jonathan Blevins, who was playing with him, noted the frustration in the popular streamer's voice and asked:

"One of those days already, huh?"

In his response, Tyler agreed that it was a bad day and reiterated his point about not playing:

"Oh yeah dude, I am probably never going to play this game."

Jonathan then asked Ninja to clarify exactly what reasons he had to stop playing Fortnite. The veteran streamer responded by claiming that it was because snipers were removed from the game and that the car-mounted turrets were overpowered:

"Snipers are removed and people are just seat-swapping out of like single vehicles and just destroying people with turrets."

While he does play other games from time to time, Fortnite has been his primary content for years and even though he has taken breaks from the Battle Royale, Ninja has always come back to streaming it.
