H3 Podcast creator Ethan Klein has finally responded to the backlash he has received since yesterday's (August 29, 2024) viral clip. For context, a two-minute-long clip from one of his podcast episodes was shared on Reddit, which depicted Ethan expressing frustrations with an employee. This was perceived as "looking down upon" the individual by many. Here's what he said to the employee:

"What are you doing? It's making it so awkward and terrible! (The employee responds, 'I'm sorry. I'm not...') Just like... this is what I'm talking about when it always like...like, bro!"

Today (August 30, 2024), Ethan Klein took to his podcast channel to address the situation. While he admitted that his words appeared harsh, he stated that he and his co-workers would deal with it "privately."

"I was angry and the button didn't work. Everybody saw the interaction. I'm embarrassed that you guys saw it. However, I do believe that it is a private, professional situation that was never meant to be public and I will continue to handle it in such a way. We will continue to work on this behind the scenes."

Yesterday, YouTuber and podcaster Ethan Klein faced backlash online after he was heard making heated remarks toward one of his employees following a technical fault in his setup. However, the clip only included the audio portion that fans initially heard.

Today, Ethan and his co-host Dan released the full clip of the incident. Watch the clip here:

Ethan Klein acknowledged that a superior shouldn't speak to an employee in such a manner but also mentioned that they essentially work in a high-pressure environment.

"It's never okay for a superior to talk down to somebody like that, especially in front of their co-workers. So I was wrong for that. However, it's a high-stress job. There's a lot going on, especially when it's live and sometimes we get heated...I spoke curtly, and more harsh than I would've liked and that's about it."

This isn't the first time Ethan Klein has faced backlash over his remarks this month. On August 18, Redditor Conscious-Jelly7560 shared a post labeling him as "super insensitive" after he responded to their story of sexual abuse.
