Popular YouTuber and Cold Ones podcast host, Chad, also known as "Anything4Views," has addressed the community about saying "horrid racist and sexist things" on livestream. On October 14, 2024, the Australian posted an update on X, in which he discussed his experiences meeting with fans over the years.
He then talked about saying "some edgy stuff online" when he was younger to "impress a community" from which he felt he "needed approval."
The YouTuber admitted to saying "some horrid racist and sexist things" live on stream because he thought it was "entertaining." Claiming that he was "completely broken" after being permanently banned from Twitch, Anything4Views said:
"I said some horrid racist and sexist things on stream because it made a chat move quicker and made me feel like it was entertaining. When I inevitably got banned for the s**t I was saying it broke me completely, but looking back at it now it was a good thing because it forced me to take a step back and think about what I was saying and the impact it had on not just myself but people watching and even the people around me."

Furthermore, Anything4Views stated that while he was "not proud of himself," he was proud of the content he was making along with his team and his friends. The streamer then apologized for being a "selfish dumba**," writing:
"I'm not proud of myself yet but I'm proud of what we're making and I am proud of the team I am privileged to share walls with and call my friends.
