Kai Cenat has clarified more about his supposed offer from Kick after Trainwreckstv claimed that Kai had not been offered a $60 million contract by the platform for his Mafiathon 2 subathon.
Trainwreckstv, who is associated with Kick, went live on his channel after Kai Cenat talked about a supposed deal he was offered to stream his marathon on the platform. Trainwreckstv claimed that the deal was for much less money, $22 million per year, and was for a three-year contract. Clips of him saying these things with certain netizens labeling Kai a liar went viral on social media.
Afterward, Kai Cenat reacted to such a post on X and gave his take. The Twitch streamer, who recently broke the record for most subscribers, claimed that he was pretty sure the deal offered was for $60 million. He also stated that he had no reason to lie about this, saying:
"Chat it was three for 60, I forgot how much it was, but I am pretty sure it was 60 chat. It was like a three-year deal I remember some of the talks, look, look chat, I won't even lie. First of all, I have no reason to lie, you feel me?"
Kai Cenat talks about his negotiations with Kick as Trainwreckstv responds
It all started after Kai Cenat claimed to have been offered $60 million to stream his subathon on Kick. With a clip of his claim going viral, Trainwreckstv responded and attempted to refute it by giving alternate numbers for the supposed deal which led some to call out Kai.
After telling his audience that he was not lying, Kai Cenat went on to talk more about the supposed negotiations with Kick. The Twitch streamer claimed that the rival platform wanted him to stream his Mafiathon 2 marathon on their website and kept raising the deal when he refused.
He also mentioned that the duration of the contract changed over the course of the negotiations:
"Chat, in the moment of time they wanted the subathon so bad, that I literally denied it multiple times so that they just kept rising it and rising it and rising it. And after, it became a three-year thing, after it became a half-month subathon on Kick and a deal."
Kai Cenat concluded his story about the supposed Kick deal by insinuating that he didn't care:
"But chat, I don't give a f**k, chat, I don't give a f**k!"
On the other hand, Trainwreckstv has responded to a now-deleted post from @scubaryan_, where Kai Cenat had been labeled a liar. Trainwreckstv noted that he had not called the Twitch streamer a liar and that the whole confusion was probably a miscommunication between management.
Kai Cenat is perhaps one of the most popular and successful streamers in the world. He was just nominated in five different categories at the 2024 Streamer Awards, including his third nomination for Streamer of the Year.
