Fitness influencer Joey Swoll has praised Kick streamer Adin Ross's one-year body transformation after the content creator started going to the gym. The controversial streamer has been documenting his fitness journey since the beginning, and in November shared some before and after photos that went viral on social media.
The photos were quite divisive, with many claiming that Adin Ross had not shown enough progress. For example, X user @thecryptomonk made a post criticizing Ross, as he said:
"If you look like this after 1 year of gym, you're either lying or have the worst genetic on this planet."
On the other hand, fitness influencer and online personality Joey Swoll has defended Adin Ross's one-year fitness transformation. Swoll replied to @thecryptomonk, claiming the Kick streamer had improved quite a bit and described it as good and believable progress:
"As someone who has coached for a VERY long time, you can absolutely see the changes in his physique. I see improvement in his midsection, shoulders, arms, and chest. This is a very good and believable transformation. Not everyone is going to have the “drastic” changes you often see on social media."
Joey Swoll calls Adin Ross's body transformation the "RIGHT WAY" to train
Adin Ross has had some trouble with drugs in the past and has even used his podcast as a platform to speak about his lean addiction. Unfortunately, this has invited a lot of criticism from his viewer base, as earlier this year, Adin was accused of being on illicit substances due to his alleged erratic behavior in front of the camera.
Other internet personalities have also accused the streamer of being on drugs, as in October, Andrew Tate claimed Ross was using again after the Kick streamer called him a "predator and rapist" while taking Sneako's side in an argument.
However, Ross has remained committed to his fitness journey and recently posted photos of his one-year transformation. As a former Twitch streamer and one of the biggest content creators on Kick, the photos went viral with many netizens criticizing his supposed lack of progress.
Despite the rampant criticism, Joey Swoll soon came to Adin's defense. The influencer is known for being a fitness trainer and he claimed that not everyone has a drastic body transformation. Swoll even went so far as to say that he loved how Ross was losing weight slowly and healthily rather than doing something unsustainable.
"I also love the fact that this is over a whole year because it’s not about 'how fast' you can lose the weight or build the muscle, it’s about how you can do it the RIGHT WAY in a healthy, sustainable manner that can be maintained and further improved upon."
Joey Swoll concluded his message by tipping his hat to the Kick streamer and everyone else on a fitness journey:
"My hat’s off to him or anyone who works hard in the gym to better themselves."
In related news, recent rumors about Adin Ross's supposed exit from Kick have dominated the headlines after he started clashing publicly with the co-founder of the platform—Ed Craven. Ross remains banned on Twitch at this time, and many speculate other platforms like Rumble, which recently signed Dr DisRespect, might be a good fit for him.
