On June 11, 2024, controversial internet personality Nico "Sneako" took to X to reveal that his Twitch channel had gotten unbanned. The content creator shared a screenshot of an official email from the Amazon-owned platform informing him that a staff member had reviewed his request for channel reinstatement and determined that he met their criteria.

An excerpt from the email reads:

"Hello SNEAKOLive, a member of our team has reviewed your request for reinstatement and can confirm that the correct enforcement was issued. However, given the details of your case, we have determined that you meet our reinstatement criteria and your request can be accepted. If you were a Partner prior to your indefinite suspension, you may reapply for Partnership via the Creator Dashboard 60 days from today."

The update has gone viral on social media platforms, such as X and Reddit. It has also received a lot of traction on the r/LivestreamFail subreddit, where more than 234 community members chimed in with their thoughts.

Redditor u/Akumu2100 expected Twitch to unban Paul "Ice Poseidon" or Herschel "Guy," aka "Dr DisRespect" first, given Sneako's contentious behavior.

"I thought they would unban Ice (Poseidon) or The Doc before Sneako of all people. Dude drops slurs every stream while being buddy-buddy with Nick Fuentes," commented u/Akumu2100.

Redditor u/FlamingLaps1709 called the 25-year-old's Twitch unban "bizarre," predicting that he would be banned again after "two streams."

"I mean, there is absolutely no way this guy, unless he has a complete and utter personality change, can survive at the very most two Twitch streams without being perma banned again so I really don't see the logic of unbanning him?! Really bizarre. This is taking 'we can fix him' to a whole new level," wrote u/FlamingLaps1709.

On the other hand, one Redditor wondered if the streamer would "clean up his brand" so that he could stay unbanned on Twitch.

"This is only interesting to see if this guy will clean up his whole brand for the opportunity to stay on Twitch. Twitch can ban for off-platform conduct so technically any of his classic Rumble streams could get him the axe on Twitch," said u/Pig_Benis69.

Sneako demands YouTube reinstate his channel after getting unbanned on Twitch

On the same day (June 11, 2024), Sneako tagged YouTube in his X comment, stating that the "misinformation policies" that resulted in his channel being permanently suspended were "no longer active." He then demanded that the platform reinstate his channel, like Twitch.
