Kick streamer Adin Ross has been gambling on Stake since 2021, putting millions into the online casino. The streamer has been known to ball out, with reports of him losing $15 million in a single night, despite claiming massive wins. His overall gambling losses, combined with investments in cryptocurrency, have been substantial (around $40 million), according to some estimates.
Most recently, on one of his regular escapades on Stake, while playing blackjack, the streamer was allegedly wronged by one of the dealers. Around the four-hour mark of his latest stream, Adin decided to bet over $10,000 in a game of twenty-one. The dealer failed to scan a card, which caused Adin to get visibly upset.
In blackjack, cards are scanned to enhance game security, prevent cheating, and ensure fair play. Scanning allows casinos to monitor card usage in real-time, preventing tampering and making it difficult for players to count cards. It also streamlines the game, especially when machines are used, to allow for quick reshuffling and efficient gameplay.
Adin Ross did not appreciate the mistake made by the dealer and requested a change:
"I want to talk to her manager... I don't want to speak to the host, I'm reporting you! What's your name?"
Adin typed a message, stating that he would report the dealer, but stopped before sending it.
"You didn't scan the card, dummy" - Adin Ross calls out his blackjack dealer for making a mistake
In the broadcast, Adin Ross became increasingly frustrated with his blackjack dealer, and on multiple instances, called out their mistakes. On one occasion, Adin's blackjack was missed:
"You didn't scan the card dummy... Rescan the nine!... Wait! That's a blackjack... GGs chat, they're about to take her in the back and fire her." (Timestamp - 3:52:00)
In blackjack, a "blackjack" refers to a specific hand that consists of an Ace and a 10-point card (10, Jack, Queen, or King) as the initial two cards dealt to a player. This hand totals 21 and is the best possible one in the game.
Later, another dealer showed up to provide support. Adin then continued gambling, shifting to Minecraft towards the end of his stream.
In other news, Adin Ross announced that he plans to embark on a 60-day streaming marathon on Kick, committing to no breaks during this period.
