Kick streamer Paul "Ice Poseidon" took to his X account to announce the revised winner of the recently concluded Hunger Games event. According to the streamer, he made a mistake in reading the data and announced the wrong winner earlier. For those unaware, initially, the first place went to Kick streamer Esai Givens. However, after revision, Taemin1998 was declared as the actual winner.
Ice Poseidon confessed that he had "screwed up" reading the data. The "data" in question was the hit detection vests. The two finalists, Taemin1998 and Esai Givens were tasked to eliminate each other with paintball guns. Speaking about the winner, Ice Poseidon said:
"After reviewing the server data for the hit detection vests, I unfortunately have to overturn the win. The last man standing with health left was actually Taemin the Korean for the 100K win."
He added that the mistake was on him. As compensation, he announced he would give 50K to Esai Givens for coming in second:
"Because I screwed up not looking at the correct data during the fight, Esai gets 50k for 2nd. Both men are warriors and true valiant survivors."
He also shared Discord logs of the vests, which showed that Esai Givens was the first person to be eliminated:
