Twitch CEO Dan Clancy has spoken out about the possibility of controversial Kick streamer Adin Ross being unbanned from the platform. On July 26, 2024, streamers Jason "FaZe Jasontheween," Rani "Stable Ronaldo," Matthew "Mizkif," Emily "ExtraEmily," and Eric "Erobb221," among others teamed up for an IRL broadcast.

At one point, the content creators called up Dan Clancy, and Stable Ronaldo took the opportunity to ask the CEO what he needed to do to get Adin Ross unbanned. He said:

"There's a streamer by the name of... I'm trying to get unbanned. He's one of my favorite streamers. I look up to him. What can I do to get him unbanned? I think you know who I'm talking about. I'm talking about Adin Ross, yeah. What can we do to make that happen?"

The Fortnite streamer went on to claim that Ross was "reformed" and working to "better his community." He later suggested that Twitch could put Ross on "really thin ice," suggesting that if the Florida native did something wrong, the Amazon-owned platform could suspend him again.

In response, Clancy said he was "open to chat" with the Kick ambassador. He elaborated:

"Yeah. I'm open to chat to see where he's at and what he's thinking. If he can convince me that he really is different and he doesn't try to get to just screw with me. You know?"

"I'm not a bad person" - Adin Ross recently claimed he would donate "percentages of his stream revenue" to the LGBTQ+ community if he gets unbanned on Twitch

Earlier this month, Adin Ross hosted an X Spaces session, during which he claimed that he would donate "percentages of his stream revenue" to the LGBTQ+ community if he gets unbanned on Twitch.

Stating that he "wasn't a bad person," the 23-year-old remarked:

"Real recognize real. I'm not a bad person. Anyone saying I'm homophobic, I literally am donating percentages of my stream revenue to, you know, the LG community. I'm donating to a bunch of other communities. I know even my viewers don't like that. I just don't want you guys to think that, like, I don't know..."

For those unaware, Adin Ross was indefintely banned from Twitch in February 2023. Eventually, the content creator revealed why he was suspended, claiming that the platform barred him because of "hateful conduct."
