An MMA fighter participating in Twitch streamer Matthew "Mizkif's" Melee Combat Championship took the opportunity to call out political commentator Hasan "HasanAbi". The individual, Kameron "Killer Kameron" Shamsi, entered the commentator booth, which was occupied by UFC lightweight Chase Hooper, former MMA fighter Bi Nguyen, and streamers William "Will Neff" and Phillip "EEvisu".
After making his way inside, Kameron immediately called out HasanAbi, stating that the Twitch streamer is "banned" from Texas, where the Melee Combat Championship was being held:
"Hello guys, Killer Kameron over here. All I got to say, Hasan! You banned from Texas, boy! If I see you, it's on sight!"
Mizkif's Melee Combat Championship fighter calls out HasanAbi
Mizkif previously held an MMA fighting event at his Iron Forge Gym in Austin, Texas on June 1, 2024. Chaos ensued at the event, with one fighter allegedly exposing himself indecently to another after their match. This fighter had just won the match as his opponent tapped out. With his opponent on the floor, he walked up to him and allegedly exposed himself.
A crowd then formed around the two fighters, leading both parties to engage in a physical fight with each other. The offending fighter was later apprehended by police and arrested. Further, he was suspended from fighting for six months as well.
During the latest event, which took place on August 24, 2024, Kameron continued to provoke HasanAbi from the commentator booth, stating:
"Yeah, boy. Your little channel. It's garbage. Nobody wanna listen to that, boy. You know what I'm saying. The people from Texas, I bet you have no balls to come step in Texas, boy. Get out of here."
Will Neff then stated that the message seemed to be directed towards his "best friend":
"Here you go. A message to... I think that was a message to who I believe to be my best friend, Hasan Piker. So..."
Just then, Kameron could be heard shouting:
"Hasan Piker, you a b**ch!"
Mizkif had recently revealed that he had lost $290,000 after his indie 2D platformer game, which had been developing for four and a half years, ended up selling only 3,000 copies since its launch on August 2, 2024. He cited the increased popularity of three-dimensional platformer games over the past few years over two-dimensional platformers, as one of the reasons behind its poor sales.
He also talked about the harsh difficulty of the game being a possible hurdle in players getting into the game, which he then tried to tackle by introducing checkpoints, as per popular player requests.
