Prominent commentary YouTuber Mutahar "SomeOrdinaryGamers" has weighed in on the recent controversy surrounding Ava Kris Tyson. Among many other serious allegations, she has been accused of previously hanging up controversial cartoonist Shadman's work on her wall, which appeared in one of her videos.
Drama Alert host Daniel "Keemstar" also corroborated the allegations. He stated that he had previously engaged in a conversation with Kris Tyson regarding Shadman, as the latter was responsible for making inappropriate "art" involving Keemstar's eight-year-old daughter. Further, Keemstar claimed that Kris Tyson supporting Shadman was a "fact" and not misinformation.
Directly addressing this, SomeOrdinaryGamers made a post on X on July 23, 2024. In it, he labeled Kris' behavior as "concerning" and stated that it required addressing.
"Hanging up 'art' like that up on your wall is insanely concerning (let alone from such a degen creator) and should be addressed."
What is the controversy surrounding Ava Kris Tyson?
MrBeast crew member Ava Kris Tyson has been accused by multiple content creators of engaging in inappropriate behavior with a 13-year-old minor. This controversy emerged after a post on r/youtubedrama went viral, highlighting videos by YouTubers Adrox and Acheeto critiquing Kris Tyson.
Acheeto made a video titled It's Over for Kris Tyson, wherein he reacted to Adrox's YouTube video, This Video Will Make You Hate Kris Tyson. In the video, Acheeto specifically mentioned Ava Kris Tyson's post on X from 2017, wherein she claimed to be the owner of an art piece made by Shadman.
Apart from this, another YouTuber Prism42 uploaded a video in which he alleged that Kris Tyson had met with a 13-year-old individual as part of a MrBeast giveaway. Alongside this, Prism42 showcased a screenshot of a Discord conversation as well as an Instagram photo of Tyson, fellow MrBeast crew member Karl Jacobs, and the 13-year-old in question.
Although this controversy has not been directly addressed by MrBeast or Ava Kris Tyson, the 13-year-old individual, who is now an adult, has spoken out against the allegations. He goes by @LavaGS on X and has called out the YouTube videos that levied the allegations against Tyson, and called them "massive lies."
Further, the individual stated that Ava had "never" done anything wrong and had made a "few edgy jokes." Further, he stated there had been no point where they were exploited or "taken advantage of" in any way.
