Popular VTuber and Twitch streamer Ironmouse has expressed her disappointment after her main YouTube channel, which had amassed over a million subscribers and contained years of content, including clips from her live broadcasts, was deleted.
On September 20, 2024, the content creator shared a brief statement on X, revealing her dismay over the channel’s deletion and announcing her intention to pursue legal action. She wrote:
"Incredibly sad and shocked that my main YouTube channel has been terminated. Right now I have a legal team working on things."
Ironmouse's main channel was removed roughly a week after YouTube deleted her VOD channel after copyright strikes
Ironmouse, one of the most popular VTubers on Twitch and the 2023 Esports Awards’ Content Creator of the Year, has over two million followers on the purple platform. Despite her widespread success, she has maintained her anonymity and has never revealed her real-world identity.
While her Twitch account remains active, both of her YouTube channels have been taken down. Earlier this month, her VOD channel was terminated due to DMCA copyright strikes. It appears that appealing these decisions requires individuals to disclose their official identities, something the streamer has been known to avoid.
Following the deletion of her main YouTube channel, Ironmouse apologized to her community and reassured her fans that she is working to resolve the issues as quickly as possible.
"Im so sorry to inconvenience everyone who enjoys watching my videos. Hopefully this can get resolved soon," she wrote in her post.
At this moment, any attempt to access the content creator's YouTube account just returns the standard "404 channel not found" error, which claims the page is not available.
