A clip from the episode claiming she is bisexual has been circulating on social media after it was reshared by viewers on websites such as X.

However, readers should note that before retelling the story, Valkyrae prefaced it by affirming that she is straight and not bisexual. Roughly five minutes into the podcast episode titled The Spicy Episode, the 100 Thieves co-owner states:

"I am straight. I am very straight, but, the first person I've ever had a sexual encounter with was a girl."

Valkyrae talked about her prior relationships on the podcast days after drama concerning her ex-boyfriend SONII went viral on social media. On the podcast, the YouTuber and her co-host Alythuh were discussing their love lives when the topic of their first dalliances came up.

At the five-minute mark, Valkyrae revealed that while she is straight, her first encounter was with a girl. The streamer detailed that the latter was a family friend's daughter who used to babysit her:

"It was a family friend's daughter. They babysat us a lot, so I think one day, it was like, 'Hey! Rachell come here I want to show you something.' And she like, went to town. She went down, bro!"

The YouTuber acknowledged that she "enjoyed" it but maintained that she wasn't gay and had no interest in girls from that point:

"I definitely enjoyed it. But, I'm not gay. It's weird, it was explorative and I just never had any interest to hook up with girls moving forward. It was just my first experience, and it's weird. I feel like with a first encounter like that I should be into women, why am I not?"

Valkyrae subsequently mentioned that while she is not into women, she appreciates them wholeheartedly:

"Don't get me wrong, I appreciate women."
