YouTube streamer Darren "IShowSpeed" has a global presence and a big part of "why" is his streaming tours. The streamer has previously explored India, multiple European countries, parts of Southeast Asia, and most recently, the Australian continent. Recently, he announced a visit to South America, marking this as his second time visiting the continent since his two-man bout with Yung Filly in Brazil.
In December 2024, IShowSpeed announced an ambitious global streaming tour for 2025, with plans to visit multiple continents, including South America. Now, he has released an official announcement video, hyping up his fanbase for an upcoming South America tour:
"Man, I'm ready to head out. Guys! I am excited to announce that we will be heading to South America. Countries like Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, and Uruguay. Turn me up! See y'all boys at the next IRL tour in South America. Peace out!"
IShowSpeed to visit 9 countries during his tour of South America
IShowSpeed is reportedly set to embark on the extensive South America tour beginning January 12, 2025. Previously, in February 2024, he met up with Yung Filly in Brazil and went on a two-man date. In October 2024, about 10 months later, Filly was charged with sexual assault in Australia.
This tour will encompass nine countries: Chile, Peru, Guatemala, Ecuador, Uruguay, Paraguay, Panama, Colombia, and Argentina. Known for his high-energy content and interactive live streams, IShowSpeed has previously captivated audiences worldwide with his international tours.
His 2024 Southeast Asia tour, for instance, saw him visiting seven countries in two weeks. During this adventure, he engaged in local cultures and achieved significant viewership milestones, one of them being an incredible viewer count of over a million. Throughout this time, he gained millions of new subscribers and was followed consistently by mobs of fans in each country.
The overwhelming crowds have proven to be a problem for Speed, and hopefully, this time around for South America, the streamer's team could deploy better crowd management.
