Darren "IShowSpeed" apologized to his Indian fans on social media after announcing that he would not be able to attend the PRIME launch event later this weekend. The popular YouTube streamer was included in the launch lineup (along with various other content creators) for the event slated to be held on November 10, 2024.
For those unaware, Logan Paul and KSI's PRIME hydration brand announced earlier this week that the beverage will be launching in India. The official poster included top YouTubers such as MrBeast, Logan Paul, KSI, IShowSpeed, and CarryMinati. With such a star-studded lineup, fans were naturally excited as this would be one of the biggest content-creator-led events to happen in Mumbai, India.
However, IShowSpeed fans will have to wait for him to come back to the country as the live streamer revealed he has some "something special" planned for the future.
"I'll see you soon": IShowSpeed promises he has something special planned for Indian fans after revealing he will not attend the PRIME launch event
Logan Paul and KSI have launched PRIME all over the world since its initial release in 2022. The rivals-turned-business-partners usually mark the subsequent releases of their product by traveling to the country and meeting fans at public events. For the India launch, they have seemingly teamed up with MrBeast, as the top YouTuber was featured in the poster along with his Feastables chocolate bar, indicating that those will also be released in the country.
IShowSpeed, who signed with PRIME as a content creator earlier this year, was also supposed to accompany MrBeast, Logan Paul, and KSI for this launch event. His India stream from last year was quite a hit with fans in the country, as the American YouTuber played cricket and met with Daler Mehndi (creator of the famous Tunak Tunak Tun song) during his visit.
As such, many were hoping to see him at the launch event on November 10, 2024. However, IShowSpeed did mention that he has special plans for when he comes back to India in the future, promising that he will see his fans "soon":
"India, I'm not going to be able to make it this weekend with @primehydrate But I have something special planned when I come back. I love you and I'm sorry but I'll see you soon I promise."
In other news, IShowSpeed recently raced Olympic Gold Medalist Noah Lyles on his stream, and even though he lost, the YouTuber is slated to train with the professional athlete for a rematch.
