YouTube streamer IShowSpeed recently went to Denmark and while IRL streaming, came across a Danish Royal Guard and asked him to do the viral TikTok trend 'English or Spanish?' on camera. Clips from the incident have been going viral on social media after viewers shared the hilarious interaction on websites like X.
IShowSpeed is in Europe IRL streaming from different countries and is known to pull pranks on people for content. While streaming from Denmark, he also tried tricking people on the streets to say the n-word, subsequently getting mad at them and shouting them down.
After he encountered a Royal Guard at a palace, Speed decided to imitate the soldier by standing next to him and mimicking his mannerisms. After a while, the YouTuber popped the question about doing the TikTok trend, asking the Danish Royal Guard:
"English or Spanish?"
For those unaware, the English or Spanish challenge is a live mannequin challenge and the person who moves first loses.
Danish Royal Guard urges IShowSpeed to move after YouTuber asks him to do the English or Spanish challenge
While spectators nearby were amused and could be heard laughing after Speed asked the Royal Guard to do the TikTok trend, the latter himself did not seem very enthusiastic and firmly asked the YouTuber to move away.
IShowSpeed was a bit disappointed and told the Danish Royal Guard that he just wanted to follow his movements for a while because he had always wanted to be a soldier:
"Huh? I can't be at least right here? I just like being a soldier."
This did not sway the Danish Royal Guard, who appeared to be talking into a microphone about the situation which led to the streamer leaving the area:
"Oh hell nah! Alright chat, we are out."
This is not the first time IShowSpeed has tried doing the English or Spanish trend on stream. A few days ago, he was in Milan collaborating with Swedish former footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic and asked him the same question. Unlike the Danish Royal Guard, Ibrahimovic not only took the streamer up on his challenge but eventually beat him by remaining still for longer.
