Darren "IShowSpeed" is currently touring Southeast Asia in a streaming series on his YouTube channel. The series so far has been chaotic and action-packed, especially due to the fans trailing the streamer, quite literally at every location. Speed constantly finds himself having to move around to avoid being overwhelmed by the crowds.

On September 16, while in Cambodia for the first time, Speed surpassed 30 million subscribers, and just eight days later, on September 24, he reached 32 million in Singapore.

During the IRL stream in Singapore, the streamer promised that if he were to go past 32 million subscribers, he would go bungee jumping. About four and a half hours into the stream, Speed achieved the milestone.

A hesitant Speed, while supervised by a professional from Skypark Sentosa, willed himself to fulfill his promise. Just as he touched the 32 million mark, he made a leap of faith and jumped off the edge, after shouting to his idol, footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, and fans:

"Ay Ronaldo, I love y'all, thirty-two million... here we go."

As he fell and became suspended mid-air, he yelled:

"Oh my god... Oh my god, I'm dead."

After this, Slipz, Speed's cameraman, and the streamer's bodyguards, Henry and Rudiger rushed to the ground floor. There, they met an exhilarated Speed, who seemed overwrought.

Funnily enough, after all this, IShowSpeed noticed his subscriber count had dropped below 32 million subscribers, clearly a collective prank played by his viewers against him:

"What the f**k? I'm not even at thirty-two million! They f**king unsubbed... f**k this sh*t... I got to do it again!.. They unsubbed when I went down! Oh my god."

Looking at IShowSpeed's Southeast Asia tour statistics so far

When IShowSpeed started his journey in Thailand on September 9, he had about 29 million subscribers. Throughout twelve broadcasts across countries like Vietnam, The Philippines, Cambodia, and Indonesia, the streamer has gained over 3 million new members on his channel.

The series has also been record-breaking in terms of live viewership. IShowSpeed first broke his all-time viewership record in Thailand reaching over 615,000 live viewers. Later in Indonesia, on September 18, over a million concurrent viewers watched him do a backflip in celebration.

This tour is on track to be the streamer's most successful yet, surpassing his European travels earlier in 2024, which drew over 2.5 billion views across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, X, and YouTube.

In other news, IShowSpeed's stream was abruptly shut down while broadcasting live from Universal Studios in Singapore.
