YouTube sensation Darren "IShowSpeed" went live on July 20, 2024, to celebrate reaching 27 million subscribers on the platform. Within the live stream, the creator listed the various countries he visited during his tour of Europe so far, including Poland, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany, thanking fans for helping him achieve the feat.

Streaming from a hotel room, the streamer had his subscribers count open on his phone to watch it hit the massive figure alongside his stream's audience. Right after the counter reached the 27 million mark, the streamer climbed up on a table, and stated the following:

"We did this sh**. My name is f**king Speed. Big Europe, we don't f**king stop! See y'all boys tomorrow."

Right after this, IShowSpeed leaped off the table and straight into the camera. The YouTube stream then lost connection and ended soon after.

IShowSpeed reached 27 million subscribers after gaining 2 million subscribers within a month

IShowSpeed has been doing a tour of Europe since June 16, 2024, when he arrived in Germany to keep up with the UEFA European Football Championship taking place from June 14 onwards. He has been streaming every few days, and keeping things fresh by being in a new country within Europe for each broadcast. His latest broadcast came from Northern Ireland, where he tried Gaelic football for the first time.

During his 27 million subscribers broadcast, the creator shared with his audience that he had gained 2 million subscribers within 30 days, a remarkable number that he had never reached within the timeframe before in his YouTube career. Talking to his audience, he said:

"I started this whole tour with twenty-five million subs, y'all. Twenty-five million subs. So, chat, put the math on it, y'all. That means we gained two million subs in thirty days, bro. In my whole YouTube career, I never done that, bro. You feel me, chat?"

Hilariously, IShowSpeed's viewers seemingly had their own agenda, which involved pranking him. Right before the streamer could reach 27 million, his audience started unsubscribing en masse. The subscriber count visible on-screen went as high as 26,999,364 before plummeting.

Much to the creator's dismay, his subscriber count was reduced by a whole ten thousand within minutes. However, after much pleading from the streamer, fans started to seriously push for the creator to reach the milestone. Within a minute, he finally hit 27 million and soon after, dove off the table.

IShowSpeed's tour of Europe has been full of memorable moments so far, with one recent one coming from his IRL stream in Denmark. Chaos ensued after IShowSpeed barked at a pitbull while going down the street. The streamer was then chased relentlessly by the dog, with his bodyguards trying to keep up.
