YouTube star Darren "IShowSpeed" has decided to spice up his Red Dead Redemption 2 marathon livestream by cosplaying as Arthur Morgan, complete with a tape-on beard, cowboy hat, boots, and a gun holster. The streamer is aiming to finish the entire game in one continuous swoop, streaming non-stop until he reaches the end.
Revealing his customized outfit to his viewers at the beginning of the broadcast and pulling out a prop gun from within his holster, IShowSpeed could be heard enthusiastically exclaiming:
"Chat! Let's get right! Let's get right! Ws in the chat!"
"W Speed": Fans react as IShowSpeed dons Arthur Morgan inspired outfit for his Red Dead Redemption 2 marathon livestream
IShowSpeed is one of the most prominent creators from the W/L community on YouTube. He gained substantial popularity in 2024 due to his extensive tours of different regions of the world, which he would document through his IRL streams. Through this, the 19-year-old streamer managed to connect with his fanbases in multiple countries and has garnered 34.3 million subscribers on YouTube thus far.
However, IShowSpeed has recently started focusing on marathon live streams as well, much akin to Twitch star Kai Cenat. The two held a collaborative marathon livestream recently, wherein they played Fortnite OG until the pair acquired a legitimate in-game win.
Now, seeing IShowSpeed also start donning outfits matching the theme of his marathons in a manner similar to Kai Cenat, netizens have been expressing their excitement on X:
"W Speed," wrote X user @AdityaP43633410
"Crazy time ahead," wrote X user @happyendingzzz
"ITS TIME," wrote X user @aribunne
Within an hour of commencement, the livestream was being watched by over 77,000 YouTube users simultaneously. This is not unusual for IShowSpeed, who is known to be very interactive with his audience throughout his broadcasts by reading and responding to his chat.
IShowSpeed had recently claimed that he had met with the producer of his favorite anime series, One Piece. During the interaction, he claimed to have received permission to broadcast the entirety of the series on his channel without any risk of being copyrighted.
