IShowSpeed ends Chile IRL stream after fireworks were thrown at streamer's car

IShowSpeed's January 23, 2025, Chile IRL stream came to an abrupt end after some people started aiming fireworks at the streamer's car. Readers should note that in Chile, fireworks are only for commercial use, meaning it is illegal for the general public to use them. The incident occurred almost four hours into his Chile stream and just as the YouTuber looked up the legality of fireworks on his phone.

Initially Darren "IShowSpeed" had no idea what the noise was and asked:

"Bro, bro, what the f**k is happening, bro? What is happening, bro? What the f**k?"

One of his team members explained that people in another car on the road were throwing fireworks at them:

"That car, they've got fireworks."

Darren was quite freaked out by this information and urged the driver of his vehicle to quickly get out of there. He also promptly ended his stream and thanked his Chilean fans. He also mentioned green apples, which are popular in the country:

"Yo, we gotta go, we gotta go. We gotta f**king go. Yo, get off the f**king road and f**king go, driver. Get the f**k out of here my ni**a. Go, go, just go! Hello no! Bro, I'm about to end the stream. Chat, I love you all. Chile I love you all. Manzana verde, green apples, bye bye."

The clip has gone viral on social media with hundreds of thousands of impressions. However, that was not the only bad experience the streamer had in Chile.

"Bro get back!": IShowSpeed cries out after being swarmed by crowds in Chile

As one of the most popular YouTubers, IShowSpeed has fans all over the world, and sometimes during his IRL streams, the number of supporters trying to interact with him starts posing a problem. Last year, the streamer even got injured while getting mobbed in the streets of Norway after twisting his ankle.

His time in Chile was similarly marked by huge crowds of fans swarming him almost every time he stepped out into the public. At one point, the streamer was trying to reach a roller coaster when the crowds started pushing in and some of the people closest to IShowSpeed seemed to have tried grabbing him as well.

While getting crushed by the swarm, IShowSpeed can be heard groaning and asking the fans to stop. At one point, he even cried out and asked people to step back:

"Oh my god, I'm done, I'm done, I'm done. Chile stop! Holy sh*t, bro get back! Ah!"

After he had successfully crossed the crowds, IShowSpeed clutched at his forehead, indicating that he might have been hurt. However, he continued streaming till the fireworks ultimately forced him to shut the broadcast down a few hours later.
