YouTube Streamer Darren "IShowSpeed" is on a Southeast Asia Tour, visiting countries like Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Indonesia. A notable visit was to Cambodia, where the streamer reached a milestone, surpassing 30 million subscribers on his channel. Unfortunately, the streamer could not experience Cambodian culture as much, due to the weather literally raining on his parade.
To compensate, Speed promised a second visit to Cambodia. On September 23, 2024, he touched down and was almost instantly surrounded by fans. As the crowd around him continued to grow, so did the chaos. Finally, the streamer found respite in a boxing gym, where he decided to box some of the local talent.
Speed wore the pair of shorts he was gifted, in the Cambodian flag colors, and adorned boxing gloves before stepping into the ring with one of the local boxers. About fifteen seconds into the fight, IShowSpeed took action first, throwing a flurry of punches at his opponent's face. The boxer skillfully blocked all the shots and moved forward, changing his stance.
Speed then used a combination of punches and attempted kicks to hinder the opposing fighter. Frustrated, he picked up the fighter and placed him over his shoulder before slamming him to the ground. The referee pushed the streamer away and gave the fighter space to collect himself and get up.
Considering the streamer has done acrobatic feats on stream in the past (like backflipping and jumping over cars), seeing him perform 360-degree turns and roundhouse kicks against his opponent was not surprising.
In the end, Speed pinned his opponent to the floor, causing the latter to tap out, leaving the streamer victorious as he fell to the floor, exhausted.
Recapping IShowSpeed's second visit to Cambodia
As promised, Speed ran it back and visited Cambodia again. Classically, the streamer was overwhelmed by the number of fans around him as he maneuvered through the streets. One fan jokingly proposed marriage to Speed during a street interaction, even offering him a ring.
Apart from the street expeditions, Speed visited a boxing gym, explored the markets, rode around on motorcycles, visited a museum, and tried the local cuisine.
In other news, viewers were touched when IShowSpeed assisted a lost fan in Malaysia during an IRL stream.
