Streaming stars IShowSpeed and Kai Cenat crossed the 40-hour milestone with over 140 deaths in their Fortnite gaming marathon, facing gameplay struggles and persistent stream snipers. In hopes of assistance, Speed tried reaching out to NickEh30, but the call went to voicemail, leaving him confused and suspecting he'd been blocked.
Kai and Speed were aiming for another Victory Royale in Fortnite, but had to deal with persistent stream snipers. To learn about how to tackle the issue, Speed suggested contacting NickEh30 (known for his expertise as a Fortnite streamer) after Kai inquired about "streamer mode". At Kai's urging, Speed called Nick, hoping for guidance.
"How do you turn on streamer mode Speed?.. Chat, what settings is it in? ('Bro, we gotta do what NickEh30 do, that's who we really need to ask. NickEh30 is very good at...', said Speed). Call him."
As soon as Speed dialed the number, the call was forwarded straight to voicemail, prompting Kai to suggest that the former's number had been blocked by NickEh30:
"Yeah, you got blocked. ('NickEh30 really blocked me?' questioned Speed) He blocked your dumba*s."
IShowSpeed's phone number is seemingly blocked by NickEh30
NickEh30 is one of the most recognizable faces in Fortnite gaming. The Twitch streamer's MO is to be "family-friendly" which directly contradicts IShowSpeed's content style, which is usually age-inappropriate. Nevertheless, Nick is an expert at all things Fortnite. So, during the marathon, Speed tried reaching out to him, but to no avail.
Previously, Nick and IShowSpeed had made a collaboration that ultimately led to the former banning the latter from his custom Fortnite games after the YouTube streamer used a racial slur during a live stream.
The query Speed wanted to ask Nick about revolved around stream sniping, which is a significant hurdle for Kai and Speed, especially considering the two have massive online audiences. During the marathon, the duo expressed frustration over stream snipers disrupting their matches.
They warned potential stream snipers about possible bans, emphasizing that Epic Games was monitoring the situation. Despite these warnings, they continued to face disruptions, leading to further frustration.
Earlier in December 2024, IShowSpeed experienced repeated targeting by stream snipers during Fortnite OG sessions. His frustration culminated in him throwing his headset and expressing anger towards the game and the disruptive players.
