YouTube streamer Darren "IShowSpeed" had to use the back exit of a restaurant during his stream from Switzerland, after a huge crowd of fans blocked the front door of the establishment. After finishing the food, Speed and those accompanying him walked through the kitchen to try and dodge the massive gathering of fans by taking the alternate exit. However, viewers had caught on to the ploy and covered the back of the building too.
The crowd could be heard shouting out in excitement as the creator emerged, thoroughly surrounded by security. As many fans ran behind the YouTuber to try and take photos with him, he could be heard saying:
"Chill! Chill! Chill! Stop! Stop!"
IShowSpeed made a hasty backdoor exit from a restaurant in Switzerland after it got surrounded by fans
Darren "IShowSpeed" hosted an IRL stream from Switzerland on July 6, 2024, continuing his tour of Europe after his not-so-fortunate encounter with fans in Norway. To those uninitiated, IShowSpeed was swarmed and assaulted by fans while exiting a souvenir shop. The creator had his hair pulled by the crowd and was even jumped on by a fan who had leaped off of his car.
To make matters worse, he had injured his ankle while performing football star Cristiano Ronaldo's iconic post-goal celebration move. He also suffered an injury on his hand while doing a watch along of a match from the ongoing UEFA Euro Championship 2024 in which Portugal lost against France and was effectively eliminated from the tournament. Out of frustration, the creator had smashed utensils near him and ended up with a cut.
Despite these hindrances, the creator has continued to tour the countries in Europe. In his broadcast, IShowSpeed could be seen exploring different places in Switzerland with Alisha Lehmann, a Swiss National football team member. Apart from the restaurant, the pair also went to a Rolex store together, where the creator purchased a watch for himself.
IShowSpeed seemed to have more robust security measures in place during his latest stream, owing to his previous interactions with fans in Norway and the Netherlands. While visiting Amsterdam, the creator was surrounded by scores of fans who wanted to take photos with the streamer.
The streamer even tried to seek help from the police to get away from the crowd. Despite this, he found himself with his pants pulled down and his microphone missing after barely making it to his vehicle through a huge gathering of fans surrounding him. Speed has since stated he does not want to do a stream from the city again.
