YouTube star Darren "IShowSpeed" has been exploring the Philippines as part of his South East Asia tour and has already spent a day hosting an IRL livestream in the country. During his broadcast, which took place on September 11, 2024, IShowSpeed could be seen going up against kids playing on a basketball court.

However, the outcome of a 1v1 with a kid did not go in IShowSpeed's favor. The boy managed to outmaneuver the 19-year-old streamer more than once, with the latter falling over twice trying to get the basketball from the kid. The streamer, however, blamed the slippery surface of the court for his performance.

IShowSpeed's visit to the Philippines comes after spending two days in Thailand, where he undertook a variety of entertaining activities such as riding (and subsequently crashing) a tuk-tuk, barking at a tiger, and nearly getting caught on fire while partaking in a fire show at a beach near Pattaya City.

After roaming the streets and interacting with fans for a segment of the stream, IShowSpeed decided to participate in an ongoing basketball game with kids, who greeted him with excitement as he entered the court. After failing to dunk the ball into the hoop three times, the streamer cited the unusually tall height of the hoop as the reason.

Now, going up against one of the kids in a one versus one, IShowSpeed fell as the ball went in between of legs. However, he quickly regained composure and attained possession of the ball. This was short-lived, as he lost control of the ball soon after.

With him facing off against the fan once again, he was caught off-balance as the former side-stepped him and ran past him to get the ball into the hoop. Now frustrated, IShowSpeed simply claimed:

"The floor's slippery."

To add to the excitement of fans within the country, IShowSpeed will reportedly be hosting a special broadcast alongside legendary professional boxer Manny Pacquiao during his second day in the Philippines.
