YouTube streamer Darren "IShowSpeed" went racing in a Formula One car on one of the tracks in the renowned Nürburgring motorsports complex located in the town of Nürburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. In a clip uploaded to X, the creator can be seen in full racing gear, sitting in an F1 car and making multiple laps of the track on camera.

To those unaware, Darren is currently residing in Germany to keep up with the ongoing UEFA Euro 2024 football matches, which he attends and broadcasts live via his YouTube channel. The creator living in Germany has spawned several IRL streams in the neighboring countries, with him visiting Venice, Italy as well as the Netherlands.

During his IRL live stream on June 27, 2024, Darren "IShowSpeed' lived out the dream of many Formula One fans, being given access to a racing car and allowed to drive multiple laps around the well-known German track. Although the majority of the time he spent driving seemed to go without hiccups, while going uphill during one segment of the track, his car seemed to stall and stop.

Darren seemed to start panicking and calling out for help. Right on cue, two crew members came jogging to assist the creator. They calmed Speed down, stating that such stalling was not an issue, and instructed him on how to proceed ahead.

After helping him roll safely down the raised part of the track onto flat land, they prompted him on how to start the car back up and then cued him to accelerate. Soon enough, the creator was making multiple more laps of the racetrack.

When he was done, IShowSpeed fist-bumped the supervisor up ahead and praised his skills in providing instructions over in-ear comms. He stated:

"What a f**king race, bro. Hell yeah! Oh sh**. Yeah, I ain't gon' lie bro, you super good at doing instructions, bro. I ain't gon' cap.. Yo, chat, shout out to my boy Andreas, man."

IShowSpeed's IRL streams often showcase him going up to fans and strangers and interacting with them himself. However, in the Netherlands, he ended up getting swarmed by fans wanting to take a photo with the creator or talk to him. The situation worsened to a point where the creator was approached by the authorities, whom he subsequently asked for help.

Regardless, things did not seem to go his way, as he ended up barely making it to his car, having had his pants pulled down and microphone stolen or lost in the process.
