YouTube star Darren "IShowSpeed" seems to be inching ever closer toward his dream of collaborating with Portuguese football icon Cristiano Ronaldo, with the streamer meeting up with his son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., in Saudi Arabia. A photo of their meet-up has gone viral on X, garnering over 350,000 views since being posted on December 22, 2024.

This comes weeks after fellow YouTuber Jimmy "MrBeast" added Speed to a group chat with Cristiano Ronaldo (currently a forward for Saudi Arabian football club Al Nassr FC). Reportedly, the streamer had expressed his intention to meet with the football star at the time as well.

IShowSpeed is known to be a massive fan of Cristiano Ronaldo, with him making multiple references to the footballer during his broadcasts as well as owning multiple items themed after him. For instance, the streamer owns a Lamborghini Huracan with a customized Ronaldo-themed livery. This was one of the two cars that he jumped over as part of a stunt in August 2024.

Recently, Speed showed off a fully customized $100,000 gaming room setup, a significant part of which was dedicated to Ronaldo. This included a signed Cristiano Ronaldo Manchester United jersey and a mural on the wall in the color of the Portuguese flag with the footballer's jersey number in the center.

With Ronaldo also taking on YouTube with his very own channel, UR Cristiano, it seems to be only a matter of time until the much-awaited collaboration between him and IShowSpeed comes to fruition.
