YouTube star Darren "IShowSpeed" met with a member of Malaysia's royalty, Major General Tunku Ismail Idris. He is the Regent and Crown Prince of the state of Johor and is the heir apparent to the throne of Johor. For those uninitiated, Malaysia has nine states, each of which is ruled by traditional Malay rulers belonging to nine different royal families. Every one of the nine rulers acts as the head of state of their respective states.
During his meeting with the 19-year-old content creator, Tunku Ismail could be seen dapping him up while greeting him. He stated:
"How've you been? You good?"
To which the streamer replied, with a smile on his face:
"Nice to meet you! What's good, man! Yeah, I'm good, man!"

Johor is one of the nine states of Malaysia that practice the constitutional monarchy system of the country. As per this system, the ruler does not actively take part in the governance of their state and instead, is bound to act on the advice of the head of the government of their respective state.
However, this head of government is appointed based on the discretionary powers of the ruler of each state.
Apart from the individual rulers of the nine states, Malaysia itself has the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, or the King of Malaysia, who acts as the symbolic Commander-in-Chief of the Malaysian Armed Forces. He represents Malaysia and interacts with foreign diplomats.
After greeting IShowSpeed, the Johor prince revealed how excited his children were about the two meeting up. He showed the streamer his phone, where his children were connected via a video call. He said:
"Welcome! Welcome! How've you been? Look, my kids are going crazy! Yeah, going crazy!"
IShowSpeed then greeted the Crown Prince's children, asking them:
"What's good, kids? Why're they not here?"
Tunku Ismail replied that they were in neighboring Singapore:
"Oh no, they didn't come. They're in Singapore."
IShowSpeed is known for his interesting interactions during his broadcasts. He met a lookalike of the popular EDM artist Marshmallow during his time in Indonesia.
