YouTube streamer Darren "IShowSpeed" (34.3 million subscribers) has garnered quite a reputation for leaking things online. This time, during his ongoing Red Dead Redemption 2 gaming marathon (started on January 6, 2025), the 19-year-old streamer accidentally disclosed his IP address while skimming through his in-game settings.
Earlier, during the stream, IShowSpeed seemed annoyed by the barrage of messages from the fans. This is when he realized that his profile must have been set to public, which explained the friend requests. In an attempt to change his settings, the streamer browsed through the sections and accidentally selected "Network Information."
This meant that the screen displayed his Private Address (IP address). He quickly panicked and called his cameraman Slipz:
"Oh my god, I just leaked my IP. No. I just leaked my IP. This stream is over with. I gotta use Starlink. (Calls Slipz) Yo, I need Starlink now. My stream is about to crash in a minute. I leaked my IP by accident. Hurry up bro, my stream is about to crash."
Fortunately for Speed, the stream didn't lag out. While he had initially thought of starting a fresh stream, it faced no hiccups after that point, meaning he could remain on his YouTube broadcast.

Not the first time IShowSpeed leaked information live on stream
YouTube streamer IShowSpeed is known for accidentally leaking information online. The streamer has earned a reputation for unintentionally revealing details, especially about others, during live streams.
For example, he has accidentally leaked the phone numbers of UK YouTuber and Sidemen member JJ "KSI" and Bayern Munich's Canadian full-back Alphonso Davies during live streams. Watch his reaction to leaking JJ's number:
Another Speed controversy occurred in August 2023. While playing the popular horror survival game Five Nights at Freddy's, the YouTuber came across a jump scare in the game. During his animated reaction to this occurrence, he accidentally exposed his privates.
Currently, IShowSpeed is 14 hours into his Red Dead Redemption 2 marathon. As it usually takes 50 to 65 for one to complete the title's main story, fans are in for an extended streaming session.
Speed had recently hosted a Fortnite-ranked marathon (duos) with fellow streamer Kai Cenat. The duo spent over 50 hours before finally securing their first win.
