YouTube streamer Darren "IShowSpeed" recently visited a Rolex store during his IRL stream from Switzerland. The creator had met up with Alisha Lehmann, a member of the country's national football team, and the two tried several watches in the store before selecting the ones they liked.
Along with one for himself, the creator initially intended to buy a watch for Alisha. However, right before finalizing the purchase, IShowSpeed asked his chat if he should buy a Rolex for her. The football player then made a statement that seemed to change the creator's mind. She said:
"I'm married already! I have a boyfriend even if you do this stuff."
Reacting to this, IShowSpeed stated:
"We not buying her sh**, alright?"
IShowSpeed nearly buys Rolex for Alisha Lehmann before backing out after being told she has a boyfriend
For those unaware, Alisha Lehmann's boyfriend is Brazillian football player Douglas Luiz. The pair had recently become part of a unique "couple transfer" in which she was signed by the football club Juventus after the club took in Luiz, who was reportedly signed for a whopping sum of €50 million.
After Alisha Lehmann told IShowSpeed that she had a boyfriend, she suggested that the creator could buy her the watch "as friends". IShowSpeed could be seen vigorously shaking his head side-to-side in utter disagreement, stating:
"Sorry, my friend. Alisha, I love you, but I'm sorry."
Throwing her hands up in response, she said:
"No? No? Really?... No, if you don't want it's fine. It's no problem for me."
He replied back by simply stating:
"Yep, no problem for you."
IShowSpeed then went to eat in a restaurant with Alisha and ended up attracting a massive crowd in the process. The crowd had become so large that it covered the entire front side of the building, forcing the creator to take the backdoor exit.
Despite such measures, the creator was ambushed by fans near the backdoor, who had collected in anticipation of him trying to take the alternate route. However, unlike the events that took place in Norway, IShowSpeed's seemingly beefed-up security detail escorted the creator safely out of the building.
