On January 21, 2025, IShowSpeed's girlfriend Vanessa Williams surprised the YouTube streamer and appeared on his Argentina IRL stream with a birthday cake. The content creator appeared to have had no idea that Vanessa would show up, and clips of the incident went viral on social media.

Darren "IShowSpeed" turned 20 during his South American trip, and on his birthday, he was streaming in Argentina. His team had reportedly organized his girlfriend Vanessa Williams' visit to the country in secret, and Darren was surprised when she brought him a cake while he was sitting at a restaurant.

After seeing her, IShowSpeed hugged Vanessa and had an emotional response as they embraced:

"Vanessa! Oh my god, you came to Argentina? Oh my god, how can day get any better?"

He also addressed his audience and stated:

"Chat, big 20! And we've got Vanessa here."

IShowSpeed was then led to another two birthday cakes, one was One Piece-themed while the other was CR7-themed. The streamer was flabbergasted and thanked his girlfriend:

"You did this? Oh my god! Yo, we're really big 20. You picked out the perfect cake for me. Thank you."

IShowSpeed also celebrated the occasion with one of his iconic backflips after Vanessa Williams smashed a cake into his face.

IShowSpeed and Vanessa celebrate him reaching 35 million subscribers on YouTube during the birthday party in Argentina

IShowSpeed and Vanessa were naturally in high spirits during the birthday bash. In addition to turning 20, the YouTuber also reached a milestone with his channel on the platform during the Argentina stream. While celebrating with his girlfriend, his YouTube channel crossed 35 million subscribers.

Speed was ecstatic after reaching 35 million and went outside to meet the throng of fans gathered in the streets to celebrate. The streamer excitedly shouted to the crowd:

"We've hit 35 million! Let's go! Oh sh*t. 35 million in Argentina baby! I love you all guys. W Argentina."

Over the years, the YouTuber has become one of the most popular streamers on the platform. Last month his efforts were recognized by his peers after he won in all of the three categories he was nominated in at the 2024 Streamer Awards, including the coveted Streamer of the Year award.
