On September 2, 2024, an old video of Darren "IShowSpeed" surfaced on social media, in which he revealed how he used to livestream. In the one-minute-22-second clip, the content creator showcased his humble streaming setup, which consisted of an HP laptop. Providing details about other peripherals connected to his laptop, the Florida-based personality said:
"Right here, this is my little laptop I use for, you know, my stream and stuff. You know, this is the little laptop I use. I got an HP laptop or something. This is so small. Then I have this speaker right here to play music and stream, and stuff. You already know what time it is over there. Then I have my controller (the streamer showcases his Sony DualShock 4 controllers). This one (a transparent shell Sony DualShock 4 controller) broke for real."
IShowSpeed then displayed a PlayStation 4 Camera, which he used as his streaming camera:
"This is the camera I use to stream. You know? I use this little box right here so I can stream. So basically, I sit down on my chair. This is my chair right here, I sit down on my chair, and I stream right here."
A few moments later, the YouTube streamer displayed his laptop, TV, and Sony PlayStation 4 Pro console, expressing gratitude for reaching 2,000 subscribers on YouTube:
"This is basically all my setup right here, y'all! That's it! Like, literally, that's it. The chair, the dresser, that's it, y'all. This is how I edit my videos and everything, y'all. Appreciate y'all for, you know, for everything. For 2,000 subs (subscribers), man. Leave a like and sub to the channel, bro. As simple as that. I told you all, my setup wasn't really that much. I'm out. Peace!"
