YouTube streamer Darren "IShowSpeed's" stream Video-On-Demand (VOD) from Indonesia has surpassed viewership records for the content creator, gathering over 20 million views. The sheer virality of his stream VOD has put it leagues above other YouTube stream VODs of the streamer, which average around two to eight million views.
IShowSpeed visited Indonesia after visiting several other South East Asian countries, such as Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Thailand. The streamer also recently surpassed 31 million subscribers on YouTube as of September 20, 2024, just three days after surpassing 30 million in Cambodia.
IShowSpeed's Indonesia livestream goes viral and attains over 20 million views
IShowSpeed has been making leaps and bounds as a content creator in the past few months, hosting IRL streams in countries all over Europe, including Poland, the Netherlands, and Germany, among others. On the other hand, he has also collaborated with other big-time content creators such as Kai Cenat for marathon livestreams on games such as Chained Together and Hardcore Minecraft.
IShowSpeed's broadcast in Indonesia started off with him interacting with fans randomly on the street, which he is typically known for. He also made a visit to a haunted house attraction during his time there, while engaging in his usual antics of having bark-offs with fans.
Another clip of IShowSpeed has been gaining virality recently, which showcases him partaking in an Indonesian traditional dance during his time in Bali. The creator participated in the activity, but he was not livestreaming at the time.
He could be seen dancing with performers wearing traditional garb and masks while infusing his own signature slapstick comedic actions in the middle of the performance. Soon after posting the clip, IShowSpeed announced on X that he would be holding a broadcast in Bali and that he would be staying in Indonesia for a few more days.
