YouTube streamer Darren "IShowSpeed" revealed that he would be open to going back to Norway (Oslo, to be more precise) after his controversial stream on July 4, 2024. However, he told his viewers that he would only go there if his stream (IRL stream in Poland) received over 200K likes. He said:

"I will go to Norway y'all. If we get to 200K likes on this stream, I will give Norway a second chance and go there again. If we get to 200K likes this stream. This stream, not when I end. This stream, bro."

This wasn't a big ask for his fans. At the time of writing, his July 7 stream has over 350K likes (it also clocked 200K+ likes while he was live), meaning that the condition was fulfilled within one day. The streamer is now likely to head back to the country after his chaotic IRL stream there. He stated:

"'Where in Norway?' Imma go back to Oslo. Y'all got me to 200K likes. Imma go back up there. I'm giving y'all a second chance, bro. I'm not going to lie bro, but this time I'm going to be smart about it."

What happened in IShowSpeed's IRL stream in Norway?

IShowSpeed had quite an adventurous experience during his IRL stream in Norway on July 4, 2024. Currently on a tour of various European locations, he visited Oslo for the first time in his life.

However, the stream took a turn for the worse quite quickly. After entering a souvenir store in Oslo, he found himself essentially trapped inside as fans flocked outside and blocked all the exits.

To make matters worse, the police refused to assist after he declined their request to turn off the stream. The crowd outside became increasingly violent and agitated, trying to break in to see their favorite streamer.

When he eventually managed to get out (after being carried by his security), the mob outside assaulted him. Some even tore strands of his dreadlocks. There were also other incidents, such as a fan jumping on iShowSpeed's car and denting it.

IShowSpeed said that he would not be returning to Oslo anytime soon. However, it now looks like he plans to head back to the city. This time, he will likely have better security with him.
