YouTube streamer Darren "IShowSpeed" was left with a nasty cut on his right hand after injuring himself during his reaction to Portugal crashing out against France. For those unaware, Speed was doing a watch along of the match. However, seeing his favorite team and player get eliminated provoked an outpour of emotions.
The streamer was overwhelmed, during which he smashed utensils that were on the table next to him. The streamer accidentally smashed a glass as well, which ended up giving him the cut.
The streamer was too consumed in the match to express any pain at the time. However, when things calmed down a bit, he took to his X and Instagram accounts to share a couple of selfies depicting a visibly injured hand. Watch the censored images here:
The clip of his blowup after the match ended was there for all to see. Fans clipped the moment from the stream where he smashed the glass, causing him the injury. Seeing the concerning reaction, his cameraman Slipz even shouted:
"Chill, you're gonna hurt yourself."
What happened in IShowSpeed's recent controversial stream in Norway?
This wasn't the only time that IShowSpeed was injured this week. On July 4, 2024, during a visit to Norway, he found himself essentially trapped inside a store after a mob of fans blocked the exits.
To make matters worse, while streaming from inside the store, Speed injured his ankle tripping over one of the shop stands. A later image shared by his team showed visible swelling.

Controversially, when he was escorted out by his security from the store, the fans started to cause a ruckus. Some even grabbed his dreadlocks and tore a few pieces. The streamer also alleged that someone threw urine at him.
Following the controversial stream, he took to X to share that he would not return to Norway anytime soon. However, the streamer is likely to continue his European tour.
Aside from Norway and Germany, the streamer has already visited several European countries such as Italy, Albania, Poland, and Sweden. It remains to be seen what his next destination will be.
