YouTube streamer Darren "IShowSpeed" has often expressed his admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo, frequently highlighting the footballer as his idol. Speed’s enthusiasm for Ronaldo is evident in his content, where he regularly celebrates the athlete's achievements and emulates his signature moves, such as the iconic "Siuuu" celebration.
Speed met the football legend in 2023, and in a recent video with MrBeast, Cristiano acknowledged the streamer, appreciating his version of the "Siuuu" celebration. Speed's passion has become a defining feature of his personality on and off-stream, garnering him a large audience of football fans who share his love for the sport.
In a December 3 stream, IShowSpeed unveiled his renovated gaming room setup, characterized by his passion for two things: Cristiano Ronaldo and the One Piece anime. The reveal started with a hidden door, covered by a life-size image of Ronaldo in action. At this point, he revealed the entire makeover cost him $100,000:
"Welcome to IShowSpeed's $100,000 new setup, Siuuu!"

Past the door, the room opened up to a football pitch-style floor covered in astroturf. As Speed closed the door, he showcased a custom locker behind it, with a "Speed" jersey and kit. Speaking of jerseys, one side of his bed showcased a signed Cristiano Ronaldo Manchester United jersey from the 2021-22 Premier League season.
The main attraction of this section of the room was the gigantic Luffy head that acted as a mantle above the bed. In the past, IShowSpeed has expressed deep admiration for One Piece and its protagonist, Luffy. Speed has frequently spoken about the anime’s impact on him, particularly during challenging times like the COVID-19 quarantine, when he found solace in the series.
Apart from this, the room features two televisions, a wall of ornaments, and a custom desk made to look like Luffy's enlarged "Gum-Gum" fist. Atop this desk lay his setup, with an interesting custom-built PC that featured iconic moments like when Speed jumped over a car live on stream.
On one of the sidewalls, Ronaldo's number 7 jersey was placed amid the Portuguese flag colors as a large showpiece. To top it off, the ceiling had a multicolored football mirror that created an infinity illusion.
In other news, IShowSpeed told Shannon Sharpe that it would take him one year to train for the 2028 Olympics.
