A new chapter has unfolded in the saga involving Ava Kris Tyson and her partner Eret. For context, on August 14, 2024, X user @mrbeastexpo shared a series of tweets, showcasing Eret's alleged public statement about the recent accusations against Tyson.
In one of the pictures shared by @mrbeastexpo, Eret seemingly claimed that Jimmy "MrBeast" told them not to discuss the controversy publicly because the YouTuber was "terrified of inflaming a situation that could anger their corporate investors."
Eret then supposedly commented on the allegations leveled against their partner by writing:
"Ava and I are both disgusted by the person she used to be. I will go into detail on points, but I need you to know that I would not be dating someone who would behave in the way 2016-18 Ava did. I would not have introduced her to you guys, or my community if I didn't know that she would help us do amazing things."
On August 16, 2024, X user @Genderillennial, the individual who accused Ava Kris Tyson of sexual assault, revealed alleged private DMs from Eret, in which the latter seemingly confirmed that their public address was real.
According to Eret's DMs, once the message got leaked on social media, things were "out of their control":
"Hi Jess, Firstly I would like to apologize. I am sorry that I talked about you so negatively in the message I sent to my staff. You did not deserve that. I deleted the message from my Discord, but once it leaked, it was out of my control. I would take it back if I could. I had been thinking about reaching out to you to discuss everything and help me understand your perspective more, but given the stakes, I felt like the last person you would want to hear from would be me. I want to take accountability and fix that now."
Eret claims there was "no malicious intent" on their part towards the alleged Ava Kris Tyson sexual assault victim
According to the alleged private message shared by X user@Genderillennial, Eret stated that they had "no malicious intent" when they wrote what they did in the leaked address. Claiming they didn't have "anything to hide," the 25-year-old apparently wanted to "try their hardest to right their wrongs":
"I cannot take back the pain I caused you, but I hope you can understand that there is no malicious intent from me. I harbour no ill will towards you, please help me make this right. I don't have anything to hide and want to make sure I try my hardest to right my wrongs. If there's anything else I can do, please let me know. Thank you."
While Eret appears to have addressed the controversy, Ava Kris Tyson and MrBeast have yet to respond to their alleged public address.
