Twitch creator Quintin "Quin69" recently let the "n-word" slip while apparently singing along to the lyrics of a 50 Cent song. The streamer was playing Path of Exile while supposedly drunk when the accidental "lyric" was uttered by him. Right after uttering it, Quin69 tried to clarify the situation by explaining there was no racially charged context behind it.

This was an attempt by the streamer to try to avoid any issues with Twitch moderation. It seems to have worked so far, as the creator has not been banned from the platform as of writing this article. While listening to the song, the streamer murmured:

"Did he call him f-a** n****?"

Quin69 also stated that he was trying to censor the homophobic "F-slur" that 50 Cent had used in the song he was singing along to but forgot to censor the "n-word":

"I was censoring my word- Wait! Okay! My bad! I censored the 'F-slur' but then I- 'cause I was focusing on censoring the 'F-slur' I didn't censor the 'N-slur'! Bro! My bad!... It was a direct quote from a song I was listening to, I just woke up. I just woke up."

Clarifying the context behind his usage of the slurs, he said:

"I was listening to 50 Cent's song, and I was like, wait, why did he just do the F-slur? Think 'cause I was focusing on censoring the F-slur, I then went and quoted the rest of what he said."

(at 1:26:33 hours during the stream)

Netizens on Reddit have since reacted to the clip of the slip-up, with many comments making light of the situation. Other users also supported the justifications provided by the streamer, noting he was drunk and that the song In Da Club by 50 Cent does feature the usage of the slurs in that particular order.

Implying the possibility of Quin69 getting banned from the platform, Redditor u/azureavenger stated:

"Early vacation boys, it was a good run"
"When you have to focus so hard on censoring the gay slur that you forget to censor your n-words classic," wrote u/HermanManly on Reddit
"This clip without 50cent track playing which he is quoting is even more funny," wrote u/Muxas on Reddit
"In his defense, he's completely drunk here," said u/gridemann on Reddit

Exploring the ban history of Quin69

This is not the first time Quin69 has run into hiccups with the Twitch content policy. The streamer is notorious for his controversial statements, having been banned five times before.

In one such instance that took place in January 2022, the creator was handed a 14-day long suspension after he made a controversial statement regarding women while reacting to an episode of Middle Ground on "Men's Rights activists vs. Feminists" in one of his livestreams.

The creator had stated:

"It's not even a hot take, this is just completely true. If women weren't required for reproduction, they wouldn't exist 'cause we would have killed them off by now... Lets be real, if we could just have s*x with dudes and have kids, all women would be dead, ok? One hundred percent."

The streamer still felt that the ban was unwarranted and had stated he would try and dispute it.

Earlier in the same month of January 2022, the streamer had made further controversial remarks regarding sexual abuse while watching an episode of American Dad, stating that a character in the show was "just asking to get" targeted by a "deranged" person by wearing a particular outfit.
