Streamer Din "Agent 00" initially made waves on the internet via content mostly revolving around basketball. A large part of Agent's breakout, and the greater "AMP" group he comes from, is NBA 2K. Since starting his YouTube channel in 2013, he has amassed a significant following by producing content that includes NBA 2K gameplay, game reviews, challenges, and tutorials.

Recently, Agent 00 criticized NBA TV for its structure. He argued that the basketball organization has unnecessarily decentralized live matches into multiple channels, allegedly for monetary gain. He states that this system hinders the average basketball fan's ability to enjoy the game.

"It is impossible to watch basketball as a basketball fan unless you purchase ten different packages."

Agent 00 claims the NBA TV's channel system may lead to the organization's downfall

The NBA's game distribution system has become quite extensive, providing fans with multiple options to watch live games, but this can sometimes complicate the viewing experience. NBA TV, national networks like ESPN and TNT, and regional sports networks (RSNs) broadcast games, while NBA League Pass offers access to all out-of-market games.

Agent claims that all these options may lead to troubles for the platform in the future, especially when 39-year-old basketball legend LeBron James eventually retires:

"NBA ratings are going to go so deep in the gutter, then LeBron James is going to retire. If the alarm bells weren't off before, they will be DEFCON, they will be blaring, it will be an absolute f**king emergency, and it will be in that moment that the NBA realizes they should have never signed that TV rights deal that split the channels up in the way it did."

The streamer also said the league does have ample entertainment points, considering the various rivalries, connections, or "storylines" within the NBA. That said, he opined, the possibility for these aspects of the game to shine is darkened by the complications of the TV network:

"The problem is nobody f**ing buys eight different channel networks to watch it all. So if you don't want to just watch your local team... you have to fork up hundreds of dollars a month."

Efforts like the NBA League Pass's multiview feature, which allows simultaneous viewing of up to four games, aim to alleviate some of these concerns. Yet, limitations such as preselected game groupings and the inability to customize multiview setups have drawn criticism.
