Twitch streamer Agent 00 has called out YouTube's policy of age-restricting videos that have N-words while addressing the controversy surrounding the latest AMP video. For context, the content group AMP (Any Means Possible) posted a video on their official YouTube which got age-restricted, thus severely hindering its profitability and viewership.

Ironically, the video was a debate on the usage of the N-word and Agent 00 talked about how much it sucks that despite not using the word in a derogatory or hateful way, the video got flagged by YouTube. On his latest Twitch stream, he called out the platform and said:

"It just sucks that using the word ni**a is considered hate speech even if we use it in like, 'Bro, that's my ni**a, bro.' We didn't use it in a hateful way, obviously. But, you feel me? That's just the way the cookie crumbles."

Agent 00 addresses why AMP reuploaded their latest YouTube video to X after it got age-restricted due to N-words

AMP's latest video on YouTube was a debate about who can and cannot say the N-word. Unfortunately for the Twitch group, the video was age-restricted and as Agent 00 notes, if a video on YouTube gets flagged as age-restricted, it severely impacts its reach and monetization.

Agent 00 noted that due to the age restriction, AMP took down the video and re-uploaded it to X:

"The video's done when it gets age-restricted. So yeah, we decided we are going to post this sh*t on Twitter where it won't get age-restricted."

After defending the video and claiming the N-word used in it was not hateful, Agent 00 acknowledged that YouTube's rules surrounding words that can be used as racial slurs have been becoming more restrictive. Calling it unfortunate, the streamer noted that the group has to learn to play by the rules and lamented that their first video in two months had to be taken down:

"It sucks that it was our first video back in like two months. But that's the type of sh*t we can't control, bro. And unfortunately, YouTube is getting more and more like that. So we just have to learn to play by the rules a little bit. That's just the way it is, unfortunately, man."

Using the N-word is a sensitive subject on streaming platforms like YouTube and Twitch. AMP's Kai Cenat recently had to reach out to his Taiwanese friend Ray about using the racial slur amid controversy.
