Popular gaming commentary YouTuber Kelly "The Act Man" took to X to update the community on his ongoing feud with fellow YouTuber AndyPants Gaming. For context, on September 11, 2024, AndyPants Gaming posted a video titled, Woke Youtubers, in which he criticized gaming content creators such as Belluar Warcraft, Skill Up, and The Act Man.
Eventually, the two content creators connected via Discord call and engaged in an hour-long debate.
On September 22, 2024, The Act Man posted a screenshot of his private conversation with AndyPants Gaming, accusing the latter of "trying to intimidate" him behind the scenes.
In the DMs, AndyPants Gaming appeared to threaten the 30-year-old by saying he would release a "well-researched video" that would discuss "many controversies" that The Act Man had "been caught in the past" if the latter released a video on him.
He elaborated:
"Hey dude, just wanted to tell you. I have no intent to make another video about you, specifically. If you do end up making a video about me on your channel, what I would do in response is, do a well-researched video bringing up the many controversies you've been caught in the past. Quantum TV. Heel vs Babyface. Posting DMs. Asmon. All of it."
Stating that The Act Man should be "ready for a cease-fire" if he releases a video about him, AndyPants Gaming remarked:
"So look dude, honestly, just ready for a cease-fire. I went into our little 'debate' without fully doing my research. I had some fun. Learned some stuff. Ready to move on? But if you make a video directed at me, I will make on back - and it has a lot of ammunition. Just letting you know."
The Act Man's response to this message was:
"This is what you asked for, I tried to warn you, and told you what would happen if you went down this path. There will be no ceasefire until you repent."
The YouTuber called out AndyPants Gaming in his tweet, writing:
"AndyPants is trying to intimidate me behind-the-scenes into not making a response video on him, where I will show all the archives I have. Worked out pretty well for the guy who tried this same tactic two years ago."
The Act Man claims there's "so much hatred in the gaming community" amid his feud with AndyPants Gaming
On the same day, X user @OmiLogic responded to The Act Man's tweet, stating that he was involved in a "vicious cycle," claiming that there was a "fine line between" defending himself and "continuing a drama cycle."
The Act Man concurred with the netizen's opinion on the "vicious cycle," stating that there is "so much hatred in the gaming community." Furthermore, he claimed that he would "stop" after "thoroughly exposing" AndyPants Gaming's "grift."
