YouTuber and Twitch streamer Sean "Jacksepticeye" has garnered attention on social media after sharing his opinions on Elon Musk's controversial gesture at Donald Trump's inauguration. On January 23, 2025, a 29-second video from Jacksepticeye's recent livestream was posted to the r/LivestreamFail subreddit.

In the clip, the Irish personality's attention was drawn to a live viewer, who described Musk's action as "that moment." Expressing his discontent with those seemingly censoring what the South African billionaire did at Trump's inauguration, he remarked:

"'Elon Musk and that moment.' Don't say, 'And that moment,' call it for what it is! It's a Nazi salute! Stop dancing around s**t all the time, that's how you end up in the position you're in right now. Everyone's afraid to say things as they are. Some people on TikTok being like, 'Before someone gets unalived,' just say suicide. You make no f**king money on TikTok anyway. God! So annoying!"

Fans on the streamer-oriented subreddit had a lot to say about the 34-year-old's opinions.

"Can't fix things that we don't know about because too many people are busy walking on eggshells instead of addressing it directly. Jack is right," Redditor u/ntlane2004 commented.
"The amount of people trying to downplay the Salute is crazy. Suddenly everyone remembers where it's from, yet the Nazis literally stole it from them and used it. Copers, man," u/ShuricanGG remarked.
"Actually really hate the 'unalived' self-censor s**t with a burning passion. It really does a disservice to the issue, especially when talking about real-life events," u/kingfisher773 wrote.

Jacksepticeye shares his thoughts on those self-censoring on social media platforms such as TikTok

After calling out netizens for not referring to Elon Musk's gesture as "what it was," Jacksepticeye shared his thoughts on those who self-censor themselves on social media platforms like TikTok. He said:

"I can't remember what I saw the other day - it was something else somebody said on TikTok. Oh, f**k! They said something and they danced around, like, the word, and then they always play the, 'Well, I don't want this video to be taken down,' and, 'I don't want to...' Whatever. Who am I? The police?"

Jacksepticeye made headlines in December 2024 when he expressed surprise at FaZe Clan's appearance at Blaire "QTCinderella's" The Streamer Awards 2024.
