Twitch and EA FC 24 streamer Morgan "Angry Ginge" made a stunning decision in the latest episode of Sidemen's ongoing reality show Inside. Having come with millions of followers backing him up, Morgan was undoubtedly one of the crowd favorites. Despite there being over £200K still at stake, the streamer decided to eliminate himself from the show to watch the FA Cup Final 2024.
Episode 6 saw the streamer get presented with a rather tempting offer - a match ticket for Wembley Stadium for the FA Cup Final 2024, which was played between Manchester United (won 2-1) and Manchester City. The only catch was that he would be instantly eliminated.
After deliberating for a couple of minutes, Morgan reasoned that he prioritizes watching his beloved team more than contesting for the remaining prize fund. This decision naturally shocked both the remaining contestants and fans. One X user wrote:
"It was worth it."
Here are some other reactions:
Who are the remaining participants in Sidemen's Inside?
Angry Ginge's elimination from Sidemen's Inside certainly came out of nowhere, especially for the contestants, as he was told he couldn't say goodbye to the remaining participants and was instantly taken away to the stadium.
With this self-elimination, Morgan became the third contestant to be removed from the show after Joe Weller and Leah Halton. At the end of episode 6, seven members are remaining. Here is a list of the names still in the running:
- Chloe Louisa Burrows (British reality TV star and Content Creator)
- Nifè (British TikToker and Content Creator)
- Olivia “Liv” Bentley (British TV star)
- Castillo (British rapper and Content Creator)
- Specs (British YouTuber)
- Roberto “Fanum” (American Twitch streamer)
- Manrika Khaira (British TikToker)
What is the remaining prize fund for the show?
Inside started with a whopping £1 million prize fund. However, that figure is long gone, mostly due to the spendthrift habits of some contestants. At the time of writing, the show had around £144K left.
However, a teaser for the upcoming episodes suggested that the final day would have around £150K remaining, meaning that the Sidemen must have given them some challenges which provided an extra boost to their prize fund.
Episode 7 will premiere later today (June 8) on the MoreSidemen channel. Episode 9, the finale will be uploaded on the main channel of the group.
