Controversial internet personality Jack Doherty has been permanently banned from Kick. The content creator made headlines on October 5, 2024, after he crashed his McLaren sports car while reading his chat. Several clips from his livestream went viral on social media platforms such as X, Reddit, and TikTok, and in one of them, Jack Doherty was heard saying that "all of his money was gone" because of the accident:

"All my money's gone. The exhaust, the whole body kit, my insurance will cover that, right?"

Earlier today, reports surfaced on X, suggesting that the 20-year-old's Kick channel had permanently been banned. According to some X users, the reason for the indefinite suspension was that Doherty "endangered the life of someone" by crashing his McLaren:

"Jack Doherty has been permanently banned on Kick for endangering the life of someone after crashing on stream," tweeted X user @FearedBuck.
"Jack Doherty permanently banned on Kick, reports say. This comes after he was using his phone while driving, right before crashing his McLaren," wrote X user @DramaAlert.
"Jack Doherty just confirmed that he is permanently banned on Kick," said X user @Kick_Champ.

On the same day, a 20-second video surfaced on the Elon Musk-owned social media platform. In it, Doherty revealed that he had been permanently banned from Kick while conversing with fellow content creator Aaron "Ac7ionMan":

"...He got, like, three stitches... Yeah, I'm banned on Kick now. (Ac7tionMan says, Wait, perma?!') Bro, yeah! They said it's a perma. (Ac7ionMan responds, 'Indefinite?') It's an accident! It's, like, I get it if I was..."

As of this writing, the following message appears when trying to access the streamer's Kick channel:

"404. Oops, something went wrong. We can't find the page you're looking for."

"Nobody else, except from him and his dumba** friend, got hurt" - Asmongold says Jack Doherty got "extremely lucky" after crashing his McLaren while driving distracted

Twitch streamer Zack "Asmongold" has shared his thoughts on the controversy. During a Just Chatting broadcast on October 5, 2024, the Texan came across X user @DramaAlert's tweet, which showed Jack Doherty crashing his McLaren.

After discovering that the Kick content creator was driving at 72 miles per hour while it was raining, Asmongold claimed that Doherty was "extremely lucky" because he was not seriously injured in the accident:

"How fast is he? It said 72 (miles per hour). He's going 72 miles an hour. This should be a 50-mile-a-hour area at this level of rain. See that? Yep, there it is. But it's good that he's okay. Nobody else, except from his and his dumba** friend, got hurt. He's extremely lucky. Extremely, extremely lucky that that happened, man."
