Jack Doherty nearly starts forest fire after shooting a flare

Kick streamer Jack Doherty almost accidentally started a forest fire in a recent stream. In a clip that has since gone viral on X, Jack was seen with a flare gun in hand. The creator aimed at a swamp pond and shot the flare. However, it ended up bouncing away from the water and landing on the nearby forest floor.

As the flare started lighting up, the controversial streamer and his team started panicking and running towards the red flare. Jack could be heard shouting:

"Oh no! Oh f**k! Yo!"

However, a moment later, the flare could be seen burning out, thus averting any risk of an actual fire going out of control.

Jack Doherty is known for his contentious behavior on stream, often getting into feuds with fellow creators such as the Island Boys and N3on. Sometimes, these feuds even escalated to the point where physical fights took place. His tussle with fellow Kick streamer Rangesh "N3on" at a Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) event in Florida was one such instance.

In his live stream on June 27, 2024, the creator went and purchased a flare gun along with several other firecrackers to try out on video. After he had finished bursting the firecrackers, he expressed confusion regarding where the flare gun should be aimed to safely use it.

In the stream, moments before he shot the flare gun, he read comments where some viewers asked him to get a fire extinguisher, to this he responded:

"Ready? Get a fire extinguisher? Y'all pu***es. Would it skip (over the pond)?"

His cameraman responded by stating:

"I hope not, make sure to point it down. Do it more over there, do it more over there."

However, Jack Doherty disregarded the suggestion made by his cameraman to avoid the lily pads which were in abundance over the pond. As he shot it directly at the lily pads, the flare unsurprisingly bounced off it and went straight into the woods. Luckily, a fire did not break out due to the swamp area's "wet grass," as pointed out by Jack himself.

To those unaware, the two parties share significant beef, with the brothers having physically assaulted Jack in the past. In his stream, he could be heard instructing the security on the drastic steps they could take in case a fight broke out between the parties once again.
