On August 24, 2024, YouTuber Jaiden Animations posted a video talking about her experience of winning $1 million at a challenge hosted by Jimmy "MrBeast" Donaldson. For the unversed, MrBeast collaborated with 50 prominent YouTube content creators for a video, pitting them against one another in a series of challenges for a million dollars. Eventually, Jaiden Animations triumphed above all, taking home the life-changing cash prize.
In the description of her video titled, I Won Mr. Beast's $1,000,000 Youtuber Challenge, Jaiden Animations distanced herself from Jimmy. Claiming that she was no longer associated with the most-subscribed YouTuber in light of the recent controversies, the YouTuber said:
"Disclaimer, this video was written/started production on June 6th, 2024. I'm not associated with the production/ethics of any Mr. Beast videos, I'm just here to tell my cube story, and animation, unfortunately, takes a long time : ) Thank you!"
Furthermore, the artist insisted that uploading the video was "timed badly," adding:
"I know it's bad timing this is why I don't collab (collaborate) with people I don't know as an animation channel, lol. Hopefully, you guys can enjoy the video anyway : )."
On the same day, Jaiden Animations took to X (formerly Twitter) to share how she had worked on the video for two months only for the topic to "become vastly sour," as she wrote:
"I love being an animation channel having to take two months to work on a video for the topic to become vastly soured within those two months, so awesome!"
"I had a really great time" - Jaiden Animations talks about winning $1 million in MrBeast's video featuring popular YouTubers
At the 23-minute mark of the YouTube video mentioned above, Jaiden Animations opened up about her experience of participating in MrBeast's video and winning $1 million. While expressing gratitude to Karl Jacobs for inviting her, Jaiden Animations said:
"I entered the MrBeast Cube ready to just talk to my friends and screw up in the first challenge. But instead, I was isolated from the world for 48 hours. Watched my peers fall one by one in front of me, and left with a million dollars for my subscribers. Thank you, Karl, for inviting me. Thank you to all my friends who made the Cube so much more enjoyable. Thank you, MrBeast, for creating this incredible opportunity I can now use to support artists, despite being put through Cube trenches, I had a really great time."
