FaZe Clan member JasonTheWeen surpassed 90,000 subscribers on Twitch soon after his unprecedented ban on the platform on the last day of the group's special September Subathon event. The streamer was unbanned after approximately half an hour. He restarted his stream immediately and proceeded to cross the 90,000 subscriber mark within just half an hour after returning.

This comes only a day after JasonTheWeen became the fourth most subscribed Twitch content creator and the most subscribed Asian streamer on the platform. He was not the only FaZe member punished by Twitch moderation, with Alexander "Adapt" also receiving a ban.

To those unaware, JasonTheWeen and the other FaZe Clan members had been participating in the group's Subathon event, which involved them streaming throughout every single day of September. In other words, the streamers had been live twenty-four-seven for the entire month.

While JasonTheWeen and Adapt's bans came as a surprise, they were both unbanned within an hour. The reason behind the ban hasn't been confirmed yet, which also affected FaZe Adapt, but some fans believe that it may have been the pair's drinking on stream to encourage subscriptions that led them to be banned from the platform.

In a clip of JasonTheWeen hitting the 90,000 subscribers milestone, he can be seen excitedly exclaiming:

"We did it! We f**king did it!"

FaZe Clan CEO Richard "Banks" had recently extended his support to Kick streamer Adin Ross after the latter was "banned" from visiting Los Angeles by members of the Cuhmunity podcast. The podcast members had been beefing with Ross over the Kick creator's support of Drake, while the podcasters themselves were supporters of Kendrick Lamar in the massive hip-hop beef that involved the two rappers.

This led to Banks himself being hit with threats of violence by the Cuhmunity podcast members, with them stating that Banks and Ross would both get a "fade" if they visited Los Angeles.
